What Were Kary Mullis’s Actual Beliefs About HIV/AIDS?

Kary Mullis is a distinguished Biochemist from The USA Whose comments on Aids stirred controversy.

When You Read Kary’s Digital Obituary you come across terms like HIV Denialist. But Is that true of Kary, was he a flat out HIV Denialist or did he have something more significant to contribute to the field of Aids Research.

Early in his career Kory commented that there was a lack of scientific evidence to prove that HIV Was the actual cause of Aids when he could not find any research to reference to validate the statement “HIV is the probable cause of the Aids virus.”

This paints a picture of Doctors or Scientists In their infancy of understanding when treating HIV/AIDS

His frustration with the lack of scientific advancement in the HIV/AIDS Establishment lead him to describe HIV / AIDS as a big Sham.

In a talk much later in his career at Google he addressed  questions about his views on HIV Aids by dicussing the treatment of HIV Directly. In this talk he said the when fighting HIV he didn’t believe that you are just fighting the HIV virus, but instead a whole genus of viruses. He was critical about the use of anti retroviral drugs saying that they world only take out the HIV Virus in clusters.

When you read Kary;s obituary you find terms like HIV Denialist. But Is that what Kary really was, It seems more like he was a HIV Constructive Criticsmist Waking the established scientists up to the rudimentary level of their early science in the treatment of the disease. Voices such as his are critical to keep the needle moving in our scientific and medical practices.
